Arriving at Kanchanaburi

I. Listening.

Introducing.

    This is Chom Wanich.

He is Thai.
He is a student at Thepmongkhon Rangsi School.
He has a part-time job as a samlor driver in the evening.

This is Mr.William Dalton.
He is American.
He is a businessman.
He is now travelling in Kanchanaburi.

Chom meets Mr.Dalton at the bus station one evening.

Welcome to Kanchanaburi !

Kanchanaburi is a province. It is situated (1) in the western region of Thailand. it is very important and concerned (2) with the history of Thailand for all ages.

This province is located (3) about 129 kilometers, west of Bangkok, approximately (4) 2 hours ride by car or air-conditioned bus service over a good road. On arriving Kanchanaburi, a visitor should stop first at the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Kanchanaburi Office, (5) which is located at Saeng Chuto Road, near the Public Bus Station (6) to collect maps, folders (7) and any other useful information.
