Thomson Financial, provider of business information and research, announced the release of Research Bank Web version 2.0. With a redesigned user interface that allows for accelerated searching and retrieval of reports, users are able to target information from Research Bank Web's comprehensive collection of analyst research reports. Featuring the Investext and MarkIntel databases, Research Bank Web provides access to over 2.3 million company and industry reports from analysts at over 950 investment banks and market research firms. New enhancements on Research Bank Web v2.0 include quicker searches and retrieval; multipage and report viewing capability on one screen; and new results sorting capability by page length. The new version also includes a new browser pop-up window to quickly review potential search criteria; a fast KWIC pop-up screen that displays individual pages or all KWICs for copying and pasting into emails; a new Company Report screen to search for company reports via ticker, company name, or industry; and a batch saving and printing applet that downloads immediately for saving or printing reports without first viewing them. Research Bank Web provides direct access to forecasts, analysis, and research through its databases Investext, MarkIntel, Industry Insider, and Morning Meeting Notes.
