Trove  - The National Library of Australia’s online gateway to resources from 1000+ Australian libraries, art galleries, archives and museums. Trove offers combined, or individual, searches of  millions of items from digitised newspapers; journals, articles and data sets; books; pictures, photos and objects; music sound and video; maps; diaries, letters and archives; archived websites (from 1996); people and organisations plus lists (created by Trove users). This is a great place to search for resources. Any online material is identified and hyper-linked. Updated

The Australian Libraries Gateway. This directory of Australian libraries enables access to local, public, university and other libraries. Includes links to individual library websites Australia wide.

National Library of Australia.

National Library of Australia eResources. Any resident of Australia can apply for a Library card and this is then used to access a wide variety of subscription databases (105) from home. 

The National Library’s Copies Direct service offers a fast and inexpensive way to get copies of articles, chapters of books, photographs, pictures, maps, manuscripts, and sound recordings. Also check with your local library if material can be ordered as interlibrary loans. New

State Library of New South Wale eResources. Residents of New South Wales who are registered as State Library clients can access a wide variety (135) subscription databases from home. You can apply online to register and it takes about 10 days to acquire a reader's card. You then use the reader's card number and a password for access. Updated

State Library of Queensland.

The Queensland State Library, Home Access. Residents of Queensland can connect from home using their State Library e-services card, or their Queensland Public Library (QPL) account.

State Library of South Australia.

State Library of South Australia, Home Access. Residents of South Australia who are registered as State Library clients can access a selection of subscription databases from home. 

LINC Tasmania brings together the services of the State Library of Tasmania, the Tasmanian Archive and Heritage Office (TAHO) and others.

LINC Tasmania. If you live in Tasmania, you can get a LINC Tasmania library card. This enables you to search eResources including family history and news subscription databases.

The State Library of Victoria.

The State Library of Victoria, Home Access. Residents of Victoria who are registered as State Library clients can access a selection of subscription databases from home. 

Public Library Locator, Victoria.

State Library of Western Australia. 

State Library of Western Australia Home Access. Use a Western Australian public library membership card number for access.
